FAQs
Normal is not optimal. Health optimization means getting you to the place where you feel like you best self physically, mentally, and emotionally. Optimizing your life means getting your energy back, sleeping well, balancing hormones, supporting metabolism, and giving you the tools to function at your highest level on a day to day basis.
Integrative medicine blends traditional medical care with complementary therapies providing a deeper approach. Instead of treating what’s right in front of us on the surface, we take the time to look at why it’s happening. Taking a look at the whole picture – things like hormones, lifestyle, nutrition, gut health, inflammation, stress, environment and lab data. It’s modern medicine with a more personalized touch to find the root-cause of the problem.
Traditional primary care is great for quick visits, sick visits, and insurance-based care, but it often doesn’t allow time to get to the bottom of chronic issues. Integrative medicine takes a deeper dive. We use advanced labs, longer appointments, and targeted therapies to truly understand what your body needs so we can treat the root cause, not just mask the symptoms.
At VitalEdge Health & Wellness, there is no such thing as a one size fits all template. Every person is different and so is their treatment plan. Plans may include labs, nutritional guidance, hormone balancing, supplements, medication when appropriate, targeted lifestyle strategies, or other personalized recommendations. We also take time to listen. So often patients are told everything is “normal” when they know it isn’t. We believe you and we will figure it out together.
Appointments are never rushed; our goal is to help answer your questions and help you feel better.
No, we don’t accept insurance. Payment is due at the time of service, and we accept cash, card, check, and HSA.
Insurance sounds convenient, but it actually drives up costs and limits the time providers can spend with patients. By staying out of the insurance system, I am able to spend more time with you, order the labs that are actually needed, and create personalized treatment plans without jumping through red tape.
It also keeps my overhead low, which means we can pass those savings on to you with more affordable visits and membership pricing than most insurance-based clinics.
Yes. We always recommend keeping health insurance for unexpected or catastrophic situations—things like hospitalizations, surgeries, emergency room visits, or specialist care. Our clinic is designed for personalized, proactive, day-to-day care, however insurance is still important for the big, unpredictable stuff. Our goal is to support your overall health while your insurance protects you from major medical expenses.
Absolutely! We offer concierge style primary care for patients who want a more personal, accessible relationship with their provider.
We offer hormone replacement therapy for both men and women, weight-loss support, thyroid optimization, root-cause integrative medicine, IV hydration and vitamin injections, concierge primary care, and acute care visits. Every treatment plan is tailored to your goals.
Hormone Replacement Therapy has been absolutely life changing for many people because hormones influence every system in the body. Everything including energy, sleep, mood, metabolism, libido, cognitive function, and overall quality of life are influenced by our hormones. As we age or go through major hormonal shifts, levels naturally decline or become imbalanced; This is when symptoms start showing up.
HRT helps restore those levels to their optimal values. This is where your body functions best so you can feel like yourself again, not just “normal” for your age. When done correctly with careful monitoring and individualized dosing, HRT supports long-term health, protects bone density, improves cardiovascular and metabolic markers, decreases cancer and Alzheimer’s risk, all-cause mortality and helps you stay active, sharp, and thriving at every stage of life.
It’s not about chasing perfection; it’s about helping your body work the way it was designed to.
Membership costs and inclusions vary, but generally include direct access to us, longer visits, same or next day appointments when needed, text messaging support, personalized treatment planning, supplement recommendations, and ongoing monitoring to keep your health moving in the right direction.
Before you officially have your intake and lab review, you will come in for a quick lab draw. Your intake and lab review will take place about one week after your labs are drawn. This appointment takes about 90 minutes and includes an in-depth discussion of your health history, lifestyle, symptoms, and goals. We also thoroughly discuss your lab results, develop a treatment plan, and outline next steps moving forward.
Easy! Simply contact us here, give us a call, or send us a text and a member of our team will get back with you as soon as possible.
